"The play-acting! When you came into the room, acting out the wired teenager coming home from school, I recognised my sons micro-expressions at such a fundamental level my heart rate just shot up. Also when you play-acted speaking the motherese to the distressed baby, I was totally taken back to that time. I had been thinking of doing this course online but it would never ever had the impact of seeing you in the classroom. Thankyou! I also really enjoy on a personal level hearing what the other mothers are dealing with – of course the war in Sudan has an effect on parenting but I never thought of it. It makes me more empathetic to there being serious challenges to parenting that I have never considered".
